The 2022 edition of the festival paid tribute to the 50th anniversary of Cabaret. The design aimed to capture the essence of the film’s narrative, illustrating how the characters—despite their seemingly carefree and hedonistic lifestyles—remain ensnared in a cycle of poor decisions. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to them, emerging idealistic totalitarian forces quietly exploit their decadence and despair, ultimately leading to their downfall.
